About Me and Smoke Tin Kitchen

Hi there I’m John and this is my business Smoke Tin Kitchen. We’ve been going for 5 years now cooking for weddings, corporate businesses and private functions. My passion is for great quality ingredients cooked over wood and charcoal. All the meat we use is locally sourced from Wiltshire and the West Country where I’m from and we go to great lengths to ensure we only use the best ingredients when in they’re in season.

At Smoke Tin Kitchen we offer bespoke menus tailored to fit your day or event all based on cooking from our firepits, smokers and wood fired oven. We offer full wedding breakfasts, desserts, canapes and a whole range of street food served from our horsebox kitchen. As well as private dining when I can. Check our menus page to see!

Away from cooking I’m passionate about sport and music. I’m a season ticket holder at Derby County Football Club. I love Metal, Jazz and LoFi music, as well as spending time with my family and our Border Collie MAC. I’m currently learning Greek and have a trip to Athens and Kefalonia planned for this year with my family.
